INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. CLAMPS, TUBING, INSERTS AND END CAPS:
a. Slide the appropriate number of Sno Barricade Clamps on to a 10' section of tubing.2. OPTIONAL BARRICADE PLATE:
b. Raise the 10' section of tubing to the roof and slide the Clamps so that each one can be tightened to the roof panel seam (Contact the Manufacturer for spacing recommendations).
c. Using a 5/16" Allen wrench, tighten the two socket head cap screws, securing each half of the Clamp and allowing the patent-pending button crimper to tightly grip the roof panel seam. This should not penetrate the roofing material.
d. Insert and tighten the 1/4" set screw into the top of the Clamp to hold the tubing in place and prevent any lateral movement (Make sure to position each tube so that the end is off-center between the last seem clamped to and the next one that is to be clamped in the installation.)
e. Repeat steps A – D for each 10' section of tubing.
f. After each full run of tubing, install an end cap simply by pressing them into the end of the tube.
a. Set the Barricade Plate so that the pre-punched hole is on the upside slope of the tube or so that it is not visible from the ground. Use a self-tapping screw to secure the Barricade Plate to the tube.1. Refer to the Manufacturer's recommendations for the Barricade Plate spacing.
